This brother has suffered a hip level amputation, also known as hip disarticulation. Because of the level of amputation, he does not need a simple prosthetic limb. He needs a more advanced and complicated prosthetic leg with both a hip joint and a knee joint.
The recommended prosthetic uses Ottobock German technology, with added hip and knee joints, giving him the chance to stand, move, and walk again.
The total cost is approximately 1,500,000 rupees, which is about $5,357.
Alhamdulillah, we have already sent $500, which is about 140,000 rupees, toward this case.
